Karl Brown
Chief Executive Officer
Founder
Karl’s beginnings in the esports space served as an impressive precursor to his later achievements, having organised multiple national level events alongside international product distribution and sponsorship for championship winning lineups. He took an extended hiatus from the industry to start his own company, Instyle Solar.
Instyle Solar’s growth has also come with significant recognition, where Karl was awarded Brisbane Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award (Retail and Services) for three consecutive years in a row – 2017, 2018 and 2019.
Karl also took home the National Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2018, and in 2019 he won the accolade for National Young Entrepreneur ‘Trailblazer’ of the Year. It was no surprise when Karl became a finalist in the 2019 CEO Magazine Executive of the Year awards following these notable achievements.

Aaron J. Girton
Chief Operating Officer
Fullstack Developer, UX & Graphic Design, Marketing & Analytics
Aaron discovered design creating his high school graduation jumper when he was 16, and hasn’t closed Photoshop since.
Drawing on his later experience as a photography lab technician, he quickly found himself freelancing designs for event organisers and national esports brands for the better part of the next decade.
A strong desire for further improvement enabled him to then become a self-taught, full stack programmer alongside the completion of his business degree (marketing & analytics) at RMIT in 2020.
He spent 2 years playing CS:GO at the professional level, but has been part of the industry for over 10 years. When he’s not playing games himself, you’ll probably find him talking about everything to do with them.
